PRIVACY POLICY

TL;DR

The Pusher tracks how many push-ups, squats, sit-ups, and burpees you do. We store that, your goals, your schedule, and the profile data Apple or Google shares when you sign in (name, email, profile picture). We don't sell data, we don't run ads, we don't track you across the web.

What we collect

  • Account info from Apple or Google: email, name, profile picture, and a provider-issued user identifier — supplied when you choose "Continue with Apple" or "Continue with Google."
  • Your exercise data: daily counts per exercise, your goals, and your schedule (daily / every-other-day / custom).
  • Profile data: a handle, display name, optional bio, and an optional self-reported sex — used for social features.
  • Authentication cookies: session cookies issued by our login provider. These expire automatically and are strictly necessary for you to stay signed in.

What we do NOT collect

  • Location data
  • Contacts
  • Health or fitness data from Apple Health or Google Fit
  • Third-party advertising identifiers
  • Browsing history or activity on other sites
  • Payment or financial information

Where it's stored

All data is stored in Amazon Web Services (DynamoDB) in theca-central-1 region (Canada). Authentication runs on Amazon Cognito with Apple and Google as identity providers. We use AWS Amplify Hosting to serve the app. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We only share data with service providers strictly necessary to run the app: Amazon Web Services (hosting, storage, authentication), Apple, and Google (so you can sign in). We do not share data with advertisers or analytics brokers.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account (Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account) we hard-delete all rows owned by your account from DynamoDB within a few seconds, including your profile, logs, goals, schedule, and follower relationships. We do not retain backups of deleted accounts.

How to delete your data

Open Settings, scroll to Danger Zone, confirm deletion. Your cloud data is removed immediately. Any copy cached on your device's local storage is cleared the next time you open the app.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion (which you can do yourself above), or to object to certain kinds of processing. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.

Children

The Pusher is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top and — where practical — notify signed-in users in-app. Your continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
